Meet our Behavior/Mental Health Team

John Berres

Melissa joined Eaton RESA in the spring of 2022.  She has experience working with all ages in K12, higher education, and non-profit settings.  Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and Master's in Social Work from Michigan State University with a specialization in Family Therapy.  She currently supports all students aged 5-21 at the Grand Ledge High School Health Center.

Katie joined Eaton RESA in the Fall of 2022. She previously worked in medical social work, with elderly and adults with disabilities, and family preservation. Katie has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Southeastern University, a Master's degree in Social Work from University of Central Florida, and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Katie currently supports the Eaton Rapids School District, Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Shannon Lock joined Eaton RESA in the fall of 2021. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Siena Heights University. She previously supported adults through life's complexities before transitioning to Eaton RESA. She is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and currently works as a Behavior Mental Health Specialist with Eaton RESA. She currently supports the Maple Valley School District, GSRP and Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
