Instructional Support That Makes a Difference
Eaton RESA partners with local school districts to support teaching and learning across all grade levels. We provide coaching, curriculum planning, assessment tools and professional development tailored to each district’s needs.
Our Approach: Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
We use the MTSS framework to help every student succeed. MTSS is a system that combines strong instruction with targeted support based on student needs. It uses frequent progress checks and data to guide teaching decisions and improve outcomes for all learners.
What We’re Working Toward
Through collaboration with local districts, we focus on key student success goals:
Improving early literacy and school readiness for young learners
Increasing proficiency in third-grade reading and math
Helping students in grades 7-12 become career and college ready
Responsive and Evolving Support
We adjust our support based on each district’s goals and data. Our general education team is deployed where needed most to help implement best practices, align with school improvement plans and build capacity for long-term success.
2025 3P Projects
In February, Eaton RESA launched the Mi-STEM Region 7 3P Educational Leadership Network with a two-day training led by Innovation and Programs Consultant, Sarah Felsing. Funded by a Mi-STEM grant, the training focused on Place-, Project-, and Problem-based learning with the goal of enhancing student access to student-centered, experiential learning. Teachers explored 3P essentials, collaborated on unit planning, and had an opportunity to source unit materials with grant funds.
