For the second year, two Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center (CPC) students were the recipients of the $5,000 Dreams Take Flight Scholarship courtesy of MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU).

In last night’s election, the voters supported the Eaton RESA special education millage which will benefit all students, in all school districts, across our area.
Eaton RESA will be closed today due to weather conditions. The Aviation Career Institute Open House planned for this evening at the Capital Region International Airport will continue as planned at 4:30pm.
Charlotte, MI – Working to improve targeted support for all students, educators from the Eaton Regional Education Service Agency (RESA), local school districts, and public school academies gathered to collaborate, assess, and align teaching and learning around the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
3P Educational Leadership Network
In February, Eaton RESA launched the Mi-STEM Region 7 3P Educational Leadership Network with a two-day training led by Innovation and Programs Consultant, Sarah Felsing. Funded by a Mi-STEM grant, the training focused on Place-, Project-, and Problem-based learning with the goal of enhancing student access to student-centered, experiential learning. Teachers explored 3P essentials, collaborated on unit planning, and had an opportunity to source unit materials with grant funds.

Despite teachers representing different grades and subjects, each of their units showed a deep commitment to 3P by engaging students in authentic, real-world problems and projects, all deeply rooted in place.
Applications are still being accepted for the second cohort of the 3P Educational Leadership Network. Full day training will take place at Eaton RESA on June 10th and 11th, and there are still a few seats available. Please join us! Teachers of all grades and subjects are welcome to apply. Participants are eligible for a stipend and funds for their 3P project. Those interested can learn more and complete the application. Please contact Sarah Felsing with questions.
