      <title>New Eaton RESA Superintendent Selected as  Dr. Sean Williams Retires</title>

      <description>&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;Charlotte, MI- Dr. Sean Williams, Superintendent at Eaton Regional Education Service Agency (RESA) has announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2026. Dr. Williams has dedicated 27 years to public education serving in Holt, Stockbridge, the Office of K-12 Outreach at MSU, Ingham ISD and Eaton RESA.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;Denise DuFort, Eaton RESA Board President shares, &amp;ldquo;We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Williams innovative and entrepreneurial leadership. He has consistently tested the boundaries of our education system at the local and state level, while always keeping students and families at the center of his decision-making. He has transformed Eaton RESA, and we wish him the best in his retirement.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;Eaton RESA&amp;rsquo;s Board of Education has selected Dr. Nate Leale to succeed Dr. Williams in the role of Superintendent. Succession planning is essential for developing leaders from within a high-functioning organization, ensuring consistency for stakeholders and continuity in advancing the organization&amp;rsquo;s mission and vision. Dr. Leale will step into the Deputy Superintendent role on April 1, 2026, to oversee all instructional areas as part of his transition plan to the Superintendent role on January 1, 2027. Dr. Williams and Dr. Leale will be working closely together over the next several months to ensure programs and services remain consistent and uninterrupted.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Grant boosts Eaton County effort to teach manufacturing, trades to students</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;DELTA TWP. &amp;ndash; Elementary school students in Eaton County have a special chance to get a look at the world of semiconductors and electric vehicles thanks to a nearly $117,000 grant from the state to the Eaton Regional Education Service Agency.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Eaton RESA&amp;#39;s three mobile pathways labs bring career exploration options to thousands of students across the county.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Those include the Sky Lab, which is focused on &lt;a href="https://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/news/local/2022/12/16/aviation-careers-students-greater-lansing-capital-region-international-airport/69734374007/"&gt;aviation&lt;/a&gt;, featuring flight simulators and aviation engineering kits; the Fabrication Lab, dedicated to engineering manufacturing and fabrication jobs, which includes a 3D printer, drill press, and real welder; and The Garage Lab, which is focused on automotive trades, featuring tire changing stations, electrical circuit boards and a backhoe simulator, according to the district&amp;#39;s website.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The grant will be dedicated to the fabrication and garage labs, said Sara Jobson, career pathways specialist for Eaton RESA.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Funded by a Mi-STEM grant, the training focused on Place-, Project-, and Problem-based learning with the goal of enhancing student access to student-centered, experiential learning.
