Women of Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (WAIAM) is preparing  for our third annual Michigan Girls Future Flight Challenge - a virtual, free, state-wide aerospace competition for girls in 4th-8th grade - this Fall from October 12th - November 9th! Registration will open in July.

Michigan 2023 Graduation Rates Higher than Pre-Pandemic Rates in Most Categories

Michigan Department of Education Press Release LANSING – Michigan’s 2023 four-year graduation rates increased in all 17 categories, according to data released today by the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI). In 13 of the 17 categories, the 2023 rates are higher than pre-pandemic 2019 graduation rates.

Michigan Department of Education Press Release LANSING – The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is excited to announce a new partnership with Communities In Schools of MichiganCommunities In Schools of Kalamazoo, and Communities in Schools of Northwest Michigan. MDE and CIS affiliates have developed a new competitive grant opportunity open to eligible local education agencies, both traditional public school districts and public school academies, to support a new partnership with Communities In Schools or to enhance existing CIS partnerships.
